The Stitches are out

Procrastination: We all do it from time to time and I am no exception.  Im sitting at the computer pretending to be working so I can put off the inevitable.  My dogs need a bath.

Roy had his stitches out today at The Lost Dogs Home, a moment I admit I was actually nervous about, mostly because I had one unknown puppy, and one slightly crazy older dog who for some unknown reason absolutely adores going to the vets.

I called MOTH a bit aprehensively this morning, should I take both?  I didnt want to leave Roxy behind, it seemed a bit unfair to our older dog who just loves car rides, vets and has formed an amazing bond with this rambunctious puppy we adopted a couple of weekends ago.

It actually went quite smoothly with the vet nurse able to take his stitches out while I held him, squirming I might add, I think his dignity was bruised in the encounter but that was the only casualty.

And now he needs a bath, he has that “I’ve been in a kennel smell”, from his time on adoption row and it has rubbed off on Roxy who isnt a bath fan either.

I stopped off at one of my favourite stores on the way home Doggy Dooz and picked up some FuzzYard Organic Tangerine and Rosmary Shampoo and Tangerine and Cocoa Butter Conditioner.  I will post a review of these and notes on bathtime a bit later today.

Wish me luck :)

    • Thanks Lost Dogs Home

If by fine you mean running amok on the beach, destroying cushions, eating everything in sight, playing endlessly with his older “sister” and mooching as much snuggles as he can, then yes he is absolutely fine.
